About the Center
Our Mission:
Ciel is a non-profit organization that offers social space and a learning center focused on bringing people together to enrich lives. The primary goal of Ciel's board of directors and Ciel's Founder; Diane Carini, is to give teens, adults and active seniors a place for community and growth.
As a non-profit organization, we are extremely grateful for financial support and in-kind donations.
Ciel is always looking to make new connections with educators and people in the community who want to share their knowledge with others. If you are interested in being a guest speaker, please contact us: 669-327-5222.
Our center has activity rooms and meeting rooms for a variety of classes, workshops, events and more.
Ciel was established as a 501 (c) (3) organization in 2015, is located in downtown Gilroy, California and is an upstanding member of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce.
About the Director
Diane Carini cares.
When she was a busy, mother-of-two teens she realized that Gilroy needed a safe, fun space for pre-teens and teens to socialize and have opportunities to learn life skills that would serve them as they grow into young adults. Many parents began asking for academic assistance for their children. That was the beginning of Ciel's successful after-school tutoring program.
Diane also had the honor and privilege to take care of her aging mother, and during that time she recognized the need for more mental stimulation, exercise, and interaction for seniors.
She decided to bring those realizations into reality, both serving the youth and the gracefully aging seniors. Ciel's services are for those who live in Gilroy and surrounding cities.
Her tireless enthusiasm for learning and sharing is contagious. She hopes the center will bring others together for the sake of new friendships, new skills, and new understandings.
